Roberto Mancini casts doubts over Wayne Bridge's Manchester City future

Roberto Mancini has cast further doubt over Wayne Bridge's future at Manchester City by claiming the former England defender seems incapable of staying fit. Bridge is one of several big names, along with Emmanuel Adebayor, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Roque Santa Cruz and Joleon Lescott, who could be offloaded in the January transfer window. And Mancini revealed his frustration over the persistent injury problems that have seen his left back complete 90 minutes just once this season.  Enlarge 'Always injured': Bridge Bridge was set to return from a hamstring strain and make only his sixth appearance since September in tonight's Europa League clash at home to Salzburg, but he lefttraining after only 20 minutes yesterday and is thought to be a doubt.  Asked about the player who cost £12million from Chelsea two yearsago, Mancini said: 'It depends on him as he's always injured and hecan't finish games. Enlarge  'He started to play again in the first game in Salzburg and after 70 minutes he was injured. He played in Poznan and after 70 minutes he got injured. It's very difficult for a player to play if he's always injured. 'It's a physical problem. Always hamstring or groin. This is a problem for all players, not only for Wayne. 'Every time he was available he played. He's been unlucky but it's important to have all the players available because it's impossible to use the same players every few days.' Victory for City tonight will put Mancini's side through to the knockout phase provided Juventus fail to beat Lech Poznan in Poland. The alternative is a tough final Group A fixture in Turin in two weeks' time, and the Italian is determined to kick off the first of seven games this month with a win so he can focus on the Premier League title race. 'We have to think only of ourselves,' said Mancini. 'We must win the game and then we will wait. 'This month is very important because we play all the time and if we do well we can go top. Maybe at the start of January we can understand our situation and what we have to do for the future.'  Tevez needs help! Hart warns City's hot shot can't be taken for grantedDecisive December!
