Micah Richards intends to stay at Manchester City "for years to come" despite continued speculation linking the teenage defender with a move away from Eastlands.
The 18-year-old England international has been linked with a move to Chelsea in recent weeks, but like team-mate Joey Barton - who pledged his future to the Citizens this week after an approach from Everton - Richards also wants to stay at City.
"I'm a Manchester City player, so hopefully I'll be here for years to come," he said.
"Joey is getting better and better and I thought he was outstanding against Sheffield Wednesday.
"Like he said, he will be here for years to come and I'm the same.
"The club is going forward all the time and we're unbeaten in six games. Hopefully we can keep it going and have a good run in the FA Cup.
"I'll just concentrate on my football and let my feet do the talking. I love it here and we're making progress all the time.
"I'm enjoying my football and playing in different positions, so I'm learning more and more about playing in the Premiership and that can only help my development."
