Manager Stuart Pearce has backed his quartet of mis-firing strikers to find the goal trail and fire Manchester City away from the relegation zone.
Paul Dickov, Georgios Samaras, Bernardo Corradi and Darius Vassell have all failed to find the net in City's last five matches - and the entire team has managed just seven goals in 11 games so far this season.
But Pearce believes a glut of goals is just around the corner as his side have no problem carving out chances.
"I am still confident in the ability of my strikers," he said ahead of the visit of Newcastle on Saturday.
"We are creating chances and it is only a matter of time before they are converted.
"Suddenly a couple of them will go in, we will win back-to-back games and off we will go."
