Palermo vice-president Guglielmo Micciche has admitted that the Italian club are likely to be forced to part with highly-rated Argentinian forward Javier Pastore next summer.
The 21-year-old is a reported target for the likes of Manchester City and Barcelona, having impressed in his first season in Serie A.
Micciche told Sky Italia: "I would enjoy Javier Pastore at Palermo this season, but certainly in football there are deals that are tough to ignore.
"In the next few seasons, we shall see what happens, as we have refused many offers for him. But Javier will certainly play this year with us.
"Last summer we received some great offers, but we refused them. The intention is to keep the player for another year."
"President Maurizio Zamparini wants to keep him for one more season."
