There is no chance of David Villa moving to Manchester City in the summer, according to the Valencia star's agent.
The Spanish side remain embroiled in financial trouble and Liverpool, Chelsea, Internazionale, Real Madrid and Barcelona have all been keen to sign Villa in the past.
Big-spending City are the latest club to be linked with the Spain international, but agent Jose Luis Tamargo is convinced his client will not be heading to Eastlands.
"David has rejected the chance to play in England," he told the Daily Mirror.
"It would be a nonsense to negotiate with Manchester City and Chelsea aren't interested.
"If Valencia do decide to sell him he wants to stay in Spain."
