Internazionale boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that Patrick Vieira is almost certain to leave the San Siro this month.
Manchester City and Barcelona have been linked with the former Arsenal midfielder who has made just six starts for Inter this season.
Vieira is keen to play more first-team football ahead of the World Cup finals in South Africa as he aims to secure a place in the France squad.
When asked what the chances were of Vieira staying at Inter, Mourinho told reporters: "I think they are very slim."
However, Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola has distanced himself with a move for the Frenchman, saying: "As far as I know, we don't need any new central midfielders."
