Former England right-back Danny Mills says he has been told he can leave Manchester City this summer, having fallen out with Citizens manager Stuart Pearce.
The 31-year-old saw his season disrupted by a broken leg sustained against Arsenal last October and made only a handful of appearances for City after regaining full fitness.
Mills told The Sun: "I'm disappointed the way things have turned out. I don't think the manager liked me asking questions or making suggestions.
"I will see what offers are on the table, but if nothing materialises I will stay and fight for my place.
"Of course I was frustrated at not being in the team, but my opinions were an effort to improve the team, whether I was in it or not. We must all want to learn and improve."
Mills joined City in the summer of 2004 on a free transfer from Leeds United, having also played for Middlesbrough, Charlton Athletic and Norwich City during his club career.
The full-back has also won 19 international caps, but has not featured for England since a 1-1 friendly draw with Portugal in February 2004.
