Athletic Bilbao prodigy Javi Martinez has brushed off media reports linking him with a move to Premier League big-spenders Manchester City.
The 21-year-old is seen as a star of the future and has been in exceptional form for the Basque side this term.
With his form continuing to raise attention, the Citizens are poised to make a move for him in the summer but he has refuted such rumours.
Speaking to Marca, he said: "Nobody has told me anything, not my agent, nor anyone else.
"I try to avoid this kind of talk as much as possible as it would be wrong of me to divert my attention from the games we have coming up.
"I do not know if the stories are true, as you can never tell if what comes out in the media are truths or not-so-truths."
