Roberto Mancini has dismissed suggestions that failure to secure Champions League football could lead to Carlos Tevez leaving Manchester City this summer.
Tevez, 26, has scored 29 goals in his first season at Eastlands but recent rumours emerged suggesting the Argentina striker would look to move on should City fail to finish in the Premier League's top four.
Wednesday's 1-0 home defeat to Tottenham put paid to their chances of securing a place in the Champions League, but Mancini has confidently declared that the former Manchester United striker will still be at Eastlands next season.
"Carlos Tevez has a contract with Manchester City and he will be here next season," he said.
Tevez joined City in a controversial transfer from Manchester United last summer.
