Manchester City's goalkeeper crisis deepens after Gunnar Nielsen suffers suspected leg fracture

Manchester City's goalkeeping crisis has worsened after Gunnar Nielsen suffered a suspected broken leg against Bolton's reserves on Wednesday. The Faroe Islands keeper, 24, needed 15 minutes of treatment and was taken off with his leg in a protective cast and taking oxygen. Shay Given underwent surgery on his shoulder yesterday and City are recalling David Gonzalez from his loan at Leeds. Broken dreams: Nielsen's injury is yet another headache for City City, meanwhile, are poised to sign Ghanaian right-back Razak Nuhu, 20, from the country's Right to Dream academy.
