Manchester City outcast Shaun Wright-Phillips wanted by West Ham, West Brom and Newcastle

Three-way tussle: Wright-Phillips West Brom, Newcastle and West Ham want Shaun Wright-Phillips on loan but the England international will have to take a hefty pay cut to leave. Wright-Phillips, 29, has been frozen out at Manchester City by manager Roberto Mancini, along with players like Wayne Bridge and Roque Santa Cruz, and although the club are happy for them to leave in January they will not subsidise loans by paying a portion of the wages. Wright-Phillips is on £70,000-a-week and although City did a deal with Cardiff that involved paying a percentage of Craig Bellamy's wages it is understood that was a one-off prompted by Mancini's desperation to move Bellamy out. City are keen to make room for new arrivals but are not prepared to pay players to play for someone else. The club also believe the policy will increase chances of other clubs buying their fringe players.   Carlos Tevez and Pablo Zabaleta should expect a festive fright from Jonas Gutierrez and NewcastleBaggies striker Miller inspired by old Man City pal Onuoha to beat injury bluesMANCHESTER CITY FC
