Isaksson seeks City exit

Manchester City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has admitted that goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson could leave the club in the January transfer window. The 26-year-old Sweden international is unhappy at having lost his first-team spot with the Citizens and may opt to move on as soon as is possible. Eriksson confirmed: "Andreas is extremely professional, he didn't like my decision of course, that's understandable and he's disappointed. "But there has not been one bad word, he's working as hard as the others and doing fantastic training. "If he wants to go, we said okay. If he wants to go I understand it absolutely, so it's totally up to him. "I've heard a lot of rumours from different countries, but so far there has been not one word to the club or me. "I spoke to Andreas on Thursday and asked him if he had a club and he said no." Isaksson joined City in the summer of 2006 from French club Rennes, but has been limited to just 19 appearances for the Eastlands outfit.
