Injury headaches for Hughes

Manchester City manager Mark Hughes could be without a number of key players for the Carling Cup match against Scunthorpe. Kolo Toure (heel), Martin Petrov and Wayne Bridge (both knee) are struggling to recover from injury while Roque Santa Cruz remains doubtful with tonsilitis Defender Pablo Zabaleta is available again for the fourth round match at Eastlands after missing the draw against Fulham because of a one-match ban.
