Manchester City manager Mark Hughes admits he has been disappointed with Robinho's form away from Eastlands.
The Brazil international has scored only two of his 12 Premier League goals this season away from home while City have only tasted victory once in 12 matches on their travels.
Hughes said: "I've had a brief word with Robinho and we have a chance now that we're away.
"We're speaking in depth - he hasn't had a great deal of Premier football away from home. That's the key.
"We have to realise that's where we are with him.
"The setbacks we are having now will stand him in good stead."
