Manchester City manager Mark Hughes is confident that his side can progress in the UEFA Cup after they were paired with FC Copenhagen in the last 32 of the competition.
City have already beaten one Danish side in Europe this term, FC Midtjylland, and could face another in the last 16 after being drawn to play either AaB Aalborg or Deportivo La Coruna, if they beat FC Copenhagen.
Hughes said: "They're all tough games at this stage of the competition but they'll be going into the game on the back of their mid-winter break so maybe we can take advantage of that fact.
"It's one of the tougher draws we could have had from the teams available to us, but we did what we needed to do to avoid teams like AC Milan and Valencia, and that was top the group, so we're pleased with that.
"It might be a couple of months off yet but I'm certainly looking forward to getting involved in some knockout European football."
