The agent of Lyon's Italian left-back Fabio Grosso has played down talk of his client making a January switch to Manchester City.
The 31-year-old joined the French champions from Internazionale in the summer of 2007 and is not yet ready to move on again.
Grosso's agent, Danilo Caravello, commented: "These rumours have also reached me, but I have not been contacted by anybody.
"It's true that Manchester City wants to invest a significant amount of money in the market and they are interested in major players such as Gianluigi Buffon.
"The fact that Fabio is being linked to such a prestigious club can do nothing but make the lad proud.
"However his team are achieving important results both in the league and in the Champions League.
"I believe that, at least until the end of the season, the player will not move from Lyon. Obviously if a good offer arrived, things could change."
