Given set for rare City appearance

Manchester City will hand Shay Given his first appearance of this season in Wednesday night's Carling Cup third-round tie at West Brom. Given has been told he can leave Eastlands in January by Roberto Mancini after being overlooked for the number one shirt in favour of Joe Hart. But he is set to feature in a much-changed Blues line-up as Mancini looks ahead to Saturday's crucial Premier League clash with Chelsea.
