Manchester City seem all but certain to miss out on Ronaldinho after Brazil coach Dunga predicted the unsettled star will join AC Milan.
Ronaldinho is certain to leave Barcelona this summer after being made available for transfer with the Citizens, Milan and Chelsea all believed to be interested.
But despite City owner Thaksin Shinawatra admitting that it would be a 'dream' to lure Ronaldinho to Eastlands, the player now seems certain to be heading to Italy.
Last week, the 28-year-old's agent suggested Milan was his likely destination and now Dunga has endorsed the view that the Rossoneri are in pole position to land the former world and European player of the year.
"Ronaldinho wishes to join Milan," he revealed.
"Players decide how transfers go. The Rossoneri hold all the cards in hand."
Meanwhile, Dunga has backed Ronaldinho to get into shape and make an impact on the Brazil side at next month's Olympic Games in Beijing.
"Such reports are exaggerated. He is only a few kilograms overweight," he continued.
"He will quickly slim down and this summer he'll star in Beijing."
