Fan denies Bellamy missile charge

A Manchester United fan has denied throwing a coin at Manchester City forward Craig Bellamy during the clubs' Carling Cup tie at Old Trafford.Adam Teese, 26, of Nelstrop Road North, Stockport, pleaded not guilty to throwing a missile on to the pitch during the semi-final clash last month. The Wales captain was struck by a coin as he went to take a corner for City in the 50th minute of the second leg. Mr Teese was bailed by magistrates in Trafford and will go on trial in May.
