Sevilla's Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano claims that he is close to agreeing a move to England, with Manchester City believed to be leading the race for his signature.
The 27-year-old is the leading scorer in La Liga this season, having moved to the Sanchez Pizjuan from FC Porto in the summer of 2005, but he now says is ready for a fresh challenge
Fabiano told reporters: "It would be very difficult to leave Seville, but negotiations to go to England are at an advanced stage and this is a great opportunity.
"I am very comfortable in Seville, it is a club and city I like a lot, but with this great opportunity I will do what I feel is appropriate."
The Citizens have been linked with a number of strikers across Europe, following Rolando Bianchi's loan exit to Lazio.
