Eriksson ready to spend

Manchester City manager Sven-Goran Eriksson is hopeful of making more signings in January after presenting the club's owner with a player wishlist.
The former England coach has already spent around £40million on a host of new players since arriving at the City of Manchester Stadium in the summer.
Eriksson wasted little time in investing new owner Thaksin Shinawatra's money by luring the likes of Elano, Rolando Bianchi, Martin Petrov, Vedran Corluka, Valeri Bojinov and Javier Garrido to the club.
But the Swede hasn't finished his spending spree after presenting a new list of potential signings to the Thai owner.
"Dr Thaksin has a very long list, but I've told him it will be shorter and shorter," Eriksson told the club's official website.
"He knows what we are thinking about and what we are talking about.
"He didn't seem to be too shocked - so that was good. He's been informed about everything we are thinking about maybe doing.
"It's both names and positions, Dr Thaksin has a combination of that.
"If we are taking in players, it will be those who can give something to this team."
