Dabo ban stands

Manchester City midfielder Ousmane Dabo will serve a three-match ban after his appeal against the red card he received in the 1-0 loss at Reading on Monday was rejected.
The 29-year-old was sent off after an aerial collision with the Royals' Steve Sidwell, but neither Dabo nor City boss Stuart Pearce felt the offence merited the punishment.
However, an independent disciplinary commission decided on Thursday that Dabo's actions had constituted serious foul play and backed referee Howard Webb's original ruling.
The Frenchman will now miss the Premiership games against Blackburn Rovers and West Ham United, together with the Carling Cup trip to Chesterfield.
