In: David Pizarro (Roma, loan)

Out: Nedum Onuoha (QPR, £2.5m), Chris Chantler (Carlisle, undisclosed), Alex Nimely (Coventry, loan),Ben Mee (Burnley, undisclosed), Wayne Bridge (Sunderland, loan)

Verdict: David Pizarro will provide good back up especially while City are without Yaya Toure, who is away on international duty. They failed to shift Carlos Tevez to AC Milan, so the Argentinian international now looks set to stay with City until the summer. It was a quiet window by their usual standards but expect City to return to their spending ways once the transfer window re-opens in the summer.
