Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce has filled his problem left wing position by signing USA international DaMarcus Beasley on a season-long loan from PSV Eindhoven.
The 24-year-old passed a medical on Thursday evening to ensure he completed his move just hours before the transfer window closed.
Beasley joined PSV from Chicago Fire in 2004 and has since won two Eredivisie and a Dutch Cup winner's medals, as well as playing in the semi-final of the Champions League.
He made his international debut in 2001 and has been a regular for the USA ever since, winning 57 caps and playing in two World Cups.
