    City make approach for Balotelli

    06 Jul 2010 - 08:31:38

The agent of Internazionale striker Mario Balotelli claims Manchester City have made an approach for his services.

City have already spent around £60million on Jerome Boateng, Yaya Toure and David Silva this summer, but agent Mino Raiola claims the 19-year-old Inter striker is also on their radar.

However, Raiola doesn't expect his client to leave Inter despite a string of disciplinary problems during his brief time in the first team.

"Mario is relaxed and tranquil. His situation is very clear," he said. "In the world, there are players that are not for sale.

"The offer from City is a reality, but I do not need to say it. He will stay at Inter. There will be no negotiation process."

Meanwhile, City winger Adam Johnson is looking forward to working alongside the club's new acquisitions when they arrive at Eastlands following the World Cup.

"There's a big squad here now but there's also a lot of games and everybody can't play in every game - there's Europe as well as the two cups," he told the club's official website.

"We need a good squad with strong people on the bench. There will obviously be changes for different games and I'm ready for that. It's going to be exciting times. I can't wait."
