City insist Sven's staying

Manchester City have refuted reports suggesting Sven-Goran Eriksson is on the verge of leaving the club after spending just one season at Eastlands.
The former England manager had two meetings with the club's owner Thaksin Shinawatra over the weekend, but the relationship between the two men is believed to remain uneasy.
Eriksson's future was placed in doubt earlier this month when rumours suggested Luis Felipe Scolari was being lined up to replace him, but City have released a statement saying: "Sven-Goran Eriksson has confirmed that he has no plans to leave the club.
"He will be at Carrington to take training as normal."
Eriksson's agent, Athole Still, added: "There is no way he will quit after the successful job he has done."
The Swede also has the supper of City defender Michael Ball, who captained the side in Richard Dunne's absence on Saturday.
He said: "Every player is 100 per cent behind him (Eriksson). We like his methods, the way he trains, the way he goes about his tactics.
"If the club wants to go forward we've got to keep the coaching staff and obviously add a few more players."
