CARLOS Tevez struck twice against his old club to give Manchester City the advantage going into the Carling Cup semi-final second leg. Veteran Ryan Giggs put the Reds ahead before Tevez equalised from the penalty spot. Tevez then scored with a close-range header after the break to seal the win.
