Manchester City are reportedly on the verge of sealing a deal to bring Fiorentina striker Valeri Bojinov to Eastlands.
The 21-year-old Bulgarian insists he has agreed a deal with City boss Sven-Goran Eriksson and is looking forward to teaming up with his compatriot Martin Petrov.
Bojinov told Bulgarian sports website www.gong.bg: "I would like to thank manager (Sven-Goran) Eriksson for making this move possible.
"I'm very pleased that I'll have the chance to play alongside Martin (Petrov), as we did it in the national team.
"I've already talked to him several times. I think it's the right time to change country."
It is believed Bojinov will pen a four-year deal with City after the Premier League side agreed a fee in the region of £5.5million with Fiorentina.
Eriksson has already signed Petrov, Italian striker Rolando Bianchi, Brazilian midfielder Geovanni and Swiss under-21 captain Gelson Fernandes since joining City last month.
