Benzema transfer talk dismissed

Karim Benzema's agent insists the Frenchman will not be leaving Real Madrid in the January transfer window despite speculation linking him with moves to the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Juventus and Manchester City. The 22-year-old has been a big disappointment at Real since moving to the Spanish capital from Lyon in the summer of 2009, starting only 18 games for the club. Jose Mourinho did start with Benzema in his team for the weekend victory against Osasuna but the striker is still being linked with a move away from the Bernabeu. However, his representative, Karim Djaziri, told calciomercato.com."The future of Karim Benzema will be at Real Madrid. "Are Juventus, Manchester United and Liverpool close to a deal? I categorically deny these rumours. "He is a Real Madrid player and will remain a Real Madrid player."
