Ball wins City deal

Manchester City manager Stuart Pearce has made the former Everton and Rangers left-back Michael Ball his second signing of the transfer window.
The 27-year-old moves to Eastlands until the end of the season on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.
Ball has been with PSV Eindhoven this season and has been snapped up by Pearce after impressing during a recent trial with the club.
"Michael Ball has had two or three days training with us and has fitted in reasonably well," Pearce said earlier this week.
Ball, who has won one England cap, made more than 100 Premiership appearances for Everton before sealing a £6.5million transfer to Rangers in August 2001.
However, his career stalled in Scotland and, after making only 55 SPL appearances in almost six years at Ibrox, Ball moved to PSV last summer.
Pearce has already signed Djamel Abdoun this month.
