Agent denies Forlan offers

The agent of Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan has denied having received any firm offers for his client.

The 30-year-old Uruguay international, who finished as top scorer in the Primera Liga this season, has been linked with Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Liverpool.

However, his representative, Daniel Bolotnikoff, told Com Radio: "There is no offer from Barcelona and I have not had any contact with them until now.

"Diego has not had any offers from anyone, he has a contract and the player is very happy.

"There is nothing from Real Madrid either. It's all rumours from the newspapers. I don't know if someone has made an offer to the club, but on behalf of the player we haven't spoken to anyone.

"Unless the situation changes a lot and it is convenient for everyone his idea is not to change.

"Today Forlan's future is Atletico. He is happy, he has had a magnificent year and that is the truth.

"Although in football what is true changes every three seconds and if this changes we will see what attitude we will take."
