World Cup winners Sir Bobby Charlton and Pele join FIFA task force

Sir Bobby Charlton has been appointed to a 22-member Task Force Football 2014 set up by FIFA president Sepp Blatter to recommend ways to improve football before the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.[LNB]Charlton, a Manchester United legend and 1966 World Cup winner with England, is also joined by fellow Englishman Alex Horne, general secretary of the English Football Association, Brazilian legend Cafu and France 1998 World Cup winner Christian Karembeu. [LNB] Key role: Sir Bobby Charlton[LNB]Pele, the only player to have won the World Cup three times in 1958, 1962 and 1970, is deputy chairman. [LNB]Other appointees include Theo van Seggelen, general secretary of FIFPro, global football's players' union, Jiri Dvorak, FIFA's chief medical officer, and China's Tracy Lu, a member of FIFA's Committee for Women's Football and one of three women on the panel. [LNB]Meanwhile, Manchester United have signed promising Wales defender Declan Dalley, 16, who was released after nine years on Cardiff's books. Dalley was recently in the Wales Under-18 squad.
