Wolves Looking To Take Evans?

Wolverhampton Wanderers are looking to bring in Jonny Evans from Manchester United according to Midlands based paper the Express and Star. The paper claims that Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is an admirer of the Northern Ireland defender and has made him a possible target as he looks to bolster his defence ahead of the new season after avoiding relegation last season.  Evans has been struggling to get into the side at Old Trafford due to the amazing form of Chris Smalling who has been in hot form filling in for Rio Ferdinand. And with Phil Jones arriving from Blackburn, things don’t look to bright for Evans when it comes to claiming a place in the starting line ups. McCarthy apparently knows this and hopes that the lure of first team football in the Premier League may just give him the chance he needs to land the player.
