Wayne Rooney stays in after Manchester United's title triumph

ShareWhile the rest of Manchester was out celebrating trophies for both the city's football teams, Wayne and Coleen Rooney were conspicuous by their absence from Saturday night's celebrations.[LNB]Despite the striker hitting the penalty that secured the Premier League title for Manchester United with a 1-1 draw against Blackburn, he opted for a quiet night in with his wife.[LNB]He tweeted a picture of himself and Coleen at home, but still declared himself content as a 'Scouser and Everton fan who beat Liverpool's 18 titles'.[LNB] Quiet night in: Wayne Rooney posted this picture of him celebrating with Coleen[LNB] [LNB] Painting the town red: Rooney's Man Utd teammates, however, appeared to make up for his absence as they headed to Ferdinand's Rosso restaurant[LNB]Across town his team mates were seen out and about with Rio Ferdinandtweeting pictures of him and fellow players at his Rosso restaurant in Manchester city centre.[LNB]The Rooneys weren't alone in their relatively quiet night in.
