Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic has expressed his joy at helping his side to break the Premier League clean sheet record.[LNB] United have now gone thirteen league games without conceding a single goal, and with the side in fine form, few would bet against the club extending that record against Fulham next week.[LNB]But for now, Vidic is happy to simply focus on applying the same diligence in defence that they have done for the past three months.[LNB]"I am very proud and happy to be part of a team that created the record," said the Serbia international.[LNB]"We are delighted to have the new record but we will try to keep going and doing the same things we have done in the past because the most important thing is to win games."[LNB]Ever-presentIndeed, the outstanding achievement has been in no small part down to the defender's own efforts to thwart the opposition.[LNB]Vidic has been the only ever-present outfield player in that record breaking side and the 27-year-old admits that he wouldn't have it any other way.[LNB]"I am very happy to be part of this defence," he added.[LNB]"I have been there all the time and it is a nice feeling to know you have not lost a goal for so many games.[LNB]"As defenders we can take a lot of credit because our job is to keep clean sheets."[LNB]
