Van Persie To Sit Out Dutch Qualifier?

Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal may give United striker Robin van Persie a rest on Friday night when the Dutch take on Andorra in a World Cup qualifier.

There is no doubt that the United front man is the top name in the Dutch side when they play, but as it is one of the so called weaker nations they are playing, it just may be that Van Persie may not be needed.

It is being reported that the Dutch supremo is giving some thought to playing Schalke front man Klaas-Jan Huntelaar at De Kuip Stadion.

Speaking to Goal.com: Van Gaal said: "We're expecting to enter the box a lot, in matches like that you can expect Klaas-Jan will play."
