Usain Bolt calls Cristiano Ronaldo a 'wuss' who should copy Wayne Rooney

The Jamaican runner said that Ronaldo should model himself on his team-mate Wayne Rooney if he wants to succeed. He also criticised the Portuguese international's tendency to "fall over" on the pitch and said the problem was his running technique. Bolt, who earned a reputation as the fastest man on Earth after winning the men's Olympic 100m and 200m sprints in record time in Beijing last year, is visiting Manchester next month to offer the team some running tips. He said he would single Ronaldo out for advice. "The first thing I'm going to tell him (is): 'Stop acting like a wuss'," he was quoted as saying. "Seriously, because the fact why his game is kind of down right now is because these guys are picking on him because he's so soft. "No one in football will try it with Rooney. "Ronaldo has got to be a little like Rooney, he's got to be aggressive, then these guys will stop picking on him. "If Ronaldo is aggressive back to these guys, and gets a few red cards, people will stop picking on him." He also promised to help cure Ronaldo's tendency to tumble on the pitch. "His problem is that when he runs he leans forward, and when he reaches his peak he loses his balance and falls over," he said. "Sometimes he needs to slow down, and he also needs to sprint more upright. "I'll give him some tips when I come to Manchester so he can get back to the top of his game."
