United To Get Adam Rumours Resurface

Following the retirement of Manchester United midfielder legend, Paul Scholes, the rumours and reports have started again that United could well be interested in bringing Blackpool's Charlie Adam to the club. Many see Adam as the sort of player who could run a midfield from his central role and therefore be an ideal replacement for Scholes. If United are interested, he probably wouldn’t come cheap if it was left to Blackpool as manager Ian Holloway said some time ago that Adam would end up going to a top four club for a pretty penny. £16 million is the fee that Blackpool are rumoured to be looking for but experts on these things think that £13 million would be more than enough to test Blackpool’s determination. The player should have moved in January many believe, the story goes that a club had agreed a fee, but lost paperwork in the 11th hour prevented the move to Tottenham or Liverpool.
