United To Face City At Wembley
The draw for the FA Cup semi-final has thrown-up a clash between Manchester United and the Divs at Wembley. The Berties will be looking for silverware for the first time since they won the League Cup in 1976, while United will be wanting to progress to keep alive their hopes of winning three trophies in one season....again. The other semi final will be contested between Stoke City and Bolton. The Trotters will be looking to capture their first trophy in over 50 years, their last coming when they won this competition in 1958. While Stoke City have won the League Cup in 1972, they have never progressed further than the semi finals of the FA Cup. The FA Cup semi-final draw in full: Manchester City vs. Manchester United Bolton Wanderers vs. Stoke City Ties to be played at Wembley on 16th/17th April.
