United to face Bayern - Arsenal draw Barcelona

Manchester United will face Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, in a repeat of their iconic 1999 final.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will re-create their 2006 final against reigning champions Barcelona in a tie to get the purists purring.

The remaining quarter-finals will see French sides Lyon and Bordeaux face off, with Jose Mourinho's Inter paired with Russian champions CSKA Moscow.

The semi-final line-up was also drawn in Lyon, with United destined to face French opposition if they progress, while Arsenal would need to get past Inter or CSKA.

If United do reach the final, to be held at Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on May 22nd, they will get to wear their home red strip. Arsenal would have to wear their away strip.
