United To Bid For Wanyama?

23 January 2013 11:25
According to reports, Alex Ferguson has been out and personally checked out a possible target at the weekend. United have had scouts watching Celtic's Victor Wanyama and the reports back have been so good that Fergie could not resist popping along to Celtic's game with Dundee in which the players scored and Celtic won 4-0.

And the United boss was said to have been impressed.

United though are not the only English club who have been monitoring the situation after Wanyama has stalled at signing any deal that has been offered to him by the Scottish giants.

The reports have originally come from Sky Sports who also say that with the player being Kenyan, if he was granted a work permit, then it would need to go to appeal as Kenya are outside of the world top 70.

Which means to seal a deal in this current transfer window, a bid would have to be made before the weekend to allow enough time.
