Manchester United have received a major setback in their preparationsfor tomorrow's Champions League quarter-final clash against Porto after Rio Ferdinand was ruled out with injury. United boss Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed Ferdinand is likely to miss Tuesday's night showdown at Old Trafford after picking up a knock playing for England against the Ukraine last Wednesday. The defender, who had been struggling with a back injury prior to the England game, sat out training this morning and is expected to play no part. Midfielder Anderson has also been ruled out after picking up an injury while on international duty with Brazil last week. Nemanja Vidic, Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes - who all missed United's 3-2 win over Aston Villa through suspension - all return along with Park Ji-sung while Ryan Giggs faces a late fitness test.
