Manchester United defender Gary Neville lasted almost an hour of Monday night's reserve-team draw with Newcastle at St James' Park.Neville has been out for two months with a groin injury, another lengthy spell on the sidelines in an injury-plagued two years for the veteran defender. However, it seems he is edging closer to full fitness again and could come into contention for next Sunday's Premier League clash with Aston Villa at Old Trafford, or the Champions League showdown with FC Porto 48 hours later. It was young striker Federico Macheda who made the biggest impression though, grabbing a hat-trick for the visitors to earn them a share of the spoils.[LNB]
