Manchester United edged to a nervy 1-0 win over Fulham on Monday night to open up a three point lead at the top of the Premier League.
Wayne Rooney's 28th goal of the season before the break proved enough.
But despite dominating possession, United failed to get a second, much to the obvious annoyance of Sir Alex Ferguson and they were fortunate not to concede a penalty when Danny Murphy went down under Michael Carrick's challenge inside the last minute.
