United proving tough to beat for Bruce

Wigan manager Steve Bruce admits he is struggling to get one over on his former club Manchester United. Things were looking good for the Latics at half-time on Wednesday night, with Hugo Rodallega`s goal giving them a slender advantage. But second-half goals from Carlos Tevez and Michael Carrick condemned Wigan to a ninth defeat in nine meetings with United. "I think I will just give up now," Bruce smiled ruefully. "At half-time we had a chance and were doing really well. But this is what happens against United."
