Arsenal pull back from Fellaini transfer...as Wenger is more interested in a striker.

United are renewing interest in light of Alcantara failure and are vying for signature of Baines to add assists and attacking prowess to the full back line. United feel he will create perfect balance with Rafael on the right.

Man Utd are set to put their disappointment of the last few days to bed with a renewed bid for Leighton Baines and  Marouane Fellaini.  Bill Kenwright and Everton are not happy about the development but are resigned to losing two players that allegedly have made it known they are keen to move on.  Roberto Martinez is keen to move on with developing his squad, and cannot whilst Baines's and Fellaini's futures are shrouded in uncertainty.  Rumour hints that he would like to get in the money now and bolster his Everton squad in time for the big kick-off next month. He is anxious to have some leverage and time to operate in the transfer market.
