The Express reports that Fergie feels that £8million plus Patrice Evra should be enough to get the signature of Baines, a defender that stands out from the rest.
It's known that Baines is looking to play Champions League football, something that is not very likely to come to Everton, but with United he could be signed up in time to make the knock out stages of the competition in February.
