Ferguson, who caused a storm with his remarks about Wiley after his United's 2-2 draw with Sunderland earlier this month, left the room after calling time. The Old Trafford chief had earler joked with the waiting journalists. When asked to reveal the secret of his long-lasting success was, Ferguson replied: 'The press keep me alive, all my good friends out there. They keep me alive.' Ferguson is without a number of key players at the Luzhniki Stadium after Wayne Rooney, Ryan Giggs, Darren Fletcher, Patrice Evra and Ji-sung Park all failed to make the trip.
