United Manager assures Moves are afoot for the BEST players

Ex-Premiership Midfiled Maestro back on Uniteds Radar. Chief Exec has pledged funds for ANY TARGET Moyes wants! Moyes, in his first major interview (with the Daily Mail) has asserted that huge ground is being covered behind the scenes on transfer targets and chief executive Ed Woodward has also been firm in his assertion that funds are available for ANY TARGET he wants – thus the prospect of a mouth watering foray into the Lane for Spurs’s £70million Footballer of The Year Gareth Bale.

Of prime concern for Moyes is the acquisition of at least two top-tier midfielders, who will add creativity, flair, goals and crucially, depth to Uniteds dangerously thin midfield ranks. United are keeping tabs on Cesc Fabregas, as Denis Irwin asserted earlier in June that they would move heaven and earth to get him. Thats an indication of how important United feel that bolstering their midfield with thorough-bred quality is.  One of Moyes’s previous charges, Everton player Marouane Fellaini is also heavily linked. And of course there is the ongoing tug-of-war over Leighton Baines future.

Moyes promises ‘We are looking at the BEST players, but it won’t take the focus away from trying to sign good players who are hungry and thinking of climbing the ladder.’

On a different note Moyes says he has been ‘wowed’ by the technical ability of the evergreen Ryan Giggs, whom he has appointed player/coach  ‘Of course I knew how good a player he was, but at close quarters and seeing how good he is with the ball is something I’m now privy to.’
