Roma forward Mirko Vucinic has been touted as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United. Financial fears would force the Serie A club to consider serious bids for their Montenegro star, with offers about £22million thought too good to  turn down. And Vucinic appears on a long list of targets drawn up by Sir Alex Ferguson - according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport - after United accepted an £80m offer for Ronaldo from Real Madrid. Vucinic has lined up against United for Roma six times in the last two years, scoring against the English side in the Olympic Stadium in April 2007. The 25-year-old scored 18 in 41 appearances for club and country last season. Sportsmail understand that United's prime targets are Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery, Lyon's Karim Benzema and Wigan Athletic's Antonio Valencia.
